Uddingston Hockey Club is thrilled to announce the marquee signing of Glenn Turner for the upcoming 2025/26 Scottish Premiership season. Glenn brings a wealth of international experience to Uddy, having earned 136 caps for Australia, netted 96 international goals, 2 World Cup golds and claimed both Commonwealth Gold and Olympic Bronze medals during a stellar career at the highest level of the sport.

Speaking on his decision to join Uddingston, Glenn shared:

“When Uddingston explained their ambitions and the ongoing project, it was clear that they are very serious about achieving their goals. The world class facilities and investments made at the club to date, has made this decision easy for me. I am excited to bring my expertise to assist Uddingston reach their goals”.

Club President Allan McGill added:

“We have a talented young squad, but we recognised the need to bring in elite-level role models to help accelerate development both on and off the pitch. When Glenn expressed interest in joining our journey, it was an opportunity we couldn’t pass up.”

This signing marks just the beginning of a busy summer for Uddingston, with more player and coaching announcements to come. The club is fully focused on building competitive squads across both the Ladies’ and Gents’ Premierships for the 2025/26 season and beyond.
