A Proud Moment for Our Club
“The selection of Ruaridh, Angus, Ben, and Verity to the Emerging and Aspiring Squads is a proud moment for our club. It reflects the high standards of training and development that we strive to maintain here at Uddingston. All 4 of the players selected have worked incredibly hard over the course of the season for our performance programmes, and great that this has been recognised with call ups for Scotland.
We are delighted that Jedd, Anna, Cat and Lexie have been selected to represent Scotland at the upcoming U21 European B Division in Switzerland and Turkey respectively. They have all had a fantastic season within our Gents and Ladies 1st Team this season and their U21 international call up epitomises the hard work and strong work ethic that they have possessed this year, and add to a strong junior international representation we have had from Uddingston Hockey Club as of late.
We encourage everyone to join us in celebrating this achievement and supporting our players as they represent Scotland with pride, passion and determination. Best of luck in your respective competitions… c’mon Scotland!”
